Atlas Legal, a US conference organizer, will be holding a 'summit' for the real estate market in Playa del Carmen, near Cozumel, next month.
They have held other property events in Mexico in the past, but this is the first that will focus on the Mexican Caribbean.
Jaclyn Grugett, event spokesperson for Atlas Legal, said the event is for "anyone who is interested in the Mexican Caribbean real estate industry", including investors and market professionals.
The conference will include sessions focussing on market strategies and an educational program examining topics such as due diligence, legal issues, tax and information reporting requirements, financing, project development, planning and construction.
The topics will be covered in depth by experts doing business in the Mexican Caribbean today.
Atlas Legal plan to hold the event annually on Mexico's east coast and this year's inaugural event will take place at the Fairmont Mayakoba resort, in Playa del Carmen, from October 24-26, 2007.
